    Dr. phil. Mark T. Hofmann is a Crime & Intelligence Analyst certified by the California Department of Justice in the United States. Dr. Hofmann earned his doctorate in Psychology at the University of T\u00fcbingen, graduating magna cum laude with research focused on the profiles and motivations of hackers. He is considered one of the leading experts in Behavioral and Cyber-Profiling, helping companies and government agencies worldwide decode motives and effectively protect themselves against cyber- and AI threats.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Dr. Hofmann was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1991. His fascination with psychology and the ability to \u201cread\u201d people began in childhood. During his Master\u2019s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (M.A., University of Wuppertal), his professional interests increasingly focused on \u201cdark topics\u201d such as Psychopathy and white-collar crime.<\/p>\n

    He completed police training programs in Criminal Investigative Analysis and Intelligence Analysis in the United States and was certified as a \u201cCrime and Intelligence Analyst\u201d by the California Department of Justice. As a Crime Analyst, he analyzes hackers directly within the darknet and supports corporations and authorities in effectively defending against cyber threats. In 2026, he completed his doctoral degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Science of the University of T\u00fcbingen with a dissertation on the Dark Triad traits (Psychopathy, Machiavellianism, and Narcissism) among hackers,\u00a0graduated with a grade of 1.0 (magna cum laude).<\/p>\n

    Dr. Hofmann is interdisciplinary qualified and primarily interested in the intersection of Psychology, Crime, and Technology. He continuously expands his expertise through advanced professional training, including qualification as a Security Awareness Coordinator (T\u00dcV).<\/p>\n
